Camper Round Trip to the Cote d'Azur

A short photo diary from a camper round trip from Ljubljana to the Cote d'Azur through northern Italy.

A sunny hillside view over Bordighera and the blue Mediterranean

We did a round trip by camper from Ljubljana to the Cote d’Azur, driving through northern Italy on the way there and back.

There were more stops than there are photos here, so this is not a full itinerary. It is just a short trace of the trip: Bordighera above the sea, Gassin’s stone streets, Finale Ligure in the first warm breeze, a quiet road near Casal Cermelli, Lake Como, a park in Milan, and camping in the middle of woods on the way home.

Finale Ligure: sea, breeze, radler, peanuts

Casal Cermelli: a quiet stop in soft evening light.
Lake Como with calm water and green mountains reflected in the distance
Lake Como: mountains, water, and a calmer blue.
A shady park in Milan with tall trees and sun filtering through the leaves
Milan: a park break under the trees.

It was stressful at times, but still an experience worth having. We could have planned parts of it better, and next time e-bikes would not be optional - they would be part of the plan.
